If you’re a long-time reader of our blog, you know that we typically dedicate our blog content to sharing our engineering team’s in-depth expertise and insights on the trends and technologies impacting the industries and applications we serve. We tend to be so focused on the exciting things we are working on to drive innovation in capacitor and RF filtering applications that we don’t share much about how we got to where we are now. But, as you can imagine, getting to the point we are at now with our world-class engineering and manufacturing teams, did not happen by accident.

Get to know Knowles

We are very intentional about everything we do – from selecting the applications we serve to the way we have built our performance culture, and this has not gone unnoticed. Recently, our President, Chris Dugan, was interviewed for a feature article in Central Upstate MFG, a publication produced by the Manufacturer’s Association of Central New York (MACNY). In the article, Chris shares his thoughts on what makes Knowles Precision Devices different from our competitors; some of the factors that have contributed to our success; how we approach recruitment, training, and development; and information on the biggest challenges for both the company and industry that lie ahead.

We encourage you to grab your coffee and take a few minutes to get to know Knowles Precision Devices a little bit better by reading the full interview recently published in Central Upstate MFG.
